　　Jack（馬克·杜普拉斯 Mark Duplass 飾）因為弟弟Tom的去世已經消沉很長一段時間了，他的好朋友，也是Tom的前女友Iris（艾米莉·布朗特 Emily Blunt 飾）勸他騎著單車到她父親在一座小島上的屋子里去思考人生。來到屋子的Jack卻意外發現了Ir is的姐姐Hanna（羅絲瑪麗·德薇特 Rosemarie DeWitt 飾）也在。兩人喝了酒，相談甚歡,情不自禁地發生了關系。第二天，因為工作調整而放假的Iris也來到了這屋子里。三個各懷心事的人將上演怎樣一出喜劇？
