丁佩以自己的角度，把功夫影帝李小龍生前一切的第一手事實，毫無保留地公諸于世，包括她如何認識李小龍，及重逢后如何發展成可以傾訴肺腑之言的紅顏知己。究竟李小龍與丁佩在私生活中，是纏綿的愛情、抑或純潔的友誼，在銀幕上自有說明。而全片最珍貴的部分，當然是對李小龍死因的交代。
