在一望無際的大海上有兩艘漁船，主人是一位年過花甲的老人（全成煥飾），他依靠兩艘船謀生，陸上的人們來這邊釣魚或看風景。老人和一位少女（韓業云飾）一起生活，她是10年前老人在岸上撿到的，此后少女再沒有上過陸地。老人等著少女年滿17歲時就會與之結婚。
