沒錢沒愛還沒心沒肺的馬騰（林更新 飾）人近中年一事無成，是旁人眼里公認(rèn)的“廢柴”！鋼廠退休骨干老林（李幼斌 飾）遵守鐵打的紀(jì)律活了一輩子本該安享晚年，身體和心理卻雙雙“亮起紅燈”！本無生活交集的兩人因?yàn)橐粓鐾岽蛘淖o(hù)工面試相遇，展開了一段啼笑皆非的有趣互救。老林為求解脫，將“協(xié)助自殺”的希望寄托在這個不靠譜的護(hù)工身上。馬騰雖然想賺錢完成女兒的心愿，但無膽害命，只能發(fā)揮自己的樂觀心態(tài)在日常中提供情緒價(jià)值給老林。二人在一段特殊的旅途中建立起生死友誼，于病痛與死亡的陰影里找到了活下去的小小微光，攜手大膽迎接未知的生活。

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
