　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

　　平靜的一天，事業(yè)小有成就的中年男子杰米（費爾南多·卡約 Fernando Cayo 飾）和妻子瑪爾塔（安娜·瓦格納 Ana Wagener 飾）、女兒伊莎（曼紐拉·維拉斯 Manuela Vellés 飾）搬入了夢寐以求的大房子內(nèi)。正當(dāng)一家人爭論晚上該不該一起度過時，三個蒙面歹徒闖入房中。為了保護家人的安全，杰米積極配合，抄下了信用卡號碼并交出手機，并隨同歹徒的首領(lǐng)外出取錢。他時刻尋找機會報警，卻不知自己所面對的是根本不會妥協(xié)的冷血惡魔。另一方面，不斷有訪客扣響杰米家的房門，恐慌的瑪爾塔母女則想盡一切辦法逃脫，似乎又讓一切變得更加糟糕。　　似無止境的長夜，愈加黑暗幽冷……

　　阿黃（許冠文 飾）是一名料理師，個性有些輕浮又十分愛現(xiàn)，但實際上，他是個名副其實的“妻管嚴(yán)”。阿黃和爺爺（許英秀 飾）一起住在岳父（盧海鵬 飾）家中，岳父性格武斷又強勢，生活中阿黃免不了要受氣，日積月累下來，阿黃的心中積蓄了許多不滿。　　某日，一位名為施施（葉倩文 飾）的美麗女子出現(xiàn)在了阿黃的面前，她正是阿黃的夢中情人。讓阿黃沒有想到的是，施施竟然對自己一往情深，還邀請他去菲律賓度假，這樣的好機會阿黃怎么能夠放過，兩人遂即動身。阿黃的妻子（鄒美儀 飾）和好友雪莉（葉麗儀 飾）得知此事，遂和父親一起，對阿黃展開了“追捕”。
