 遠離家鄉的租客鐘不凡（彭昱暢 飾）被老房東任爹（成龍 飾）誤識成離家多年的兒子，囊中羞澀的鐘不凡不得不與獨自漂泊的租客蘇曉月 (張佳寧 飾)、斜杠中年房屋中介賈爺 (潘斌龍 飾)、對任爹關懷備至的鄰居金珍姑 (李萍 飾)相聚在同一屋檐下，不是一家人，硬進一家門。當鐘不凡被任爹不定時發作的糊涂折磨得死去活來時，卻發現了老人深藏多年的秘密……

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

 意大利導演費德里克．費里尼的中期經典作《八部半》是其成熟高峰期作品，此后開始走向糜爛而至腐敗，偏于肉欲放縱和自我沉溺，像《費里尼之薩蒂尼康》（六九年）和本片，都是糜爛頹廢的出色力作。本片反映了十八世紀基督道德不振后的上流腐化放縱，費里尼盡情借題發揮，展現出精英文藝在人欲橫流下的腐爛情態。大情人卡薩諾華是在情場屢戰屢勝的“性斗士"，不斷獵艷，還參加造愛競賽。但這大情人苦于人人只重他的性愛能力，不重視他經世濟民治國的才學。而且女人們對他都“有性無愛"，當他衰老得失去性魅力之后，就只能把一個機械女人當作夢中情人，很可悲可憐。
