劇情簡介
表面上看來，雷（寺島忍 飾）是一位人到中年的普通女性，但在內心里，雷有著一個只有她自己知道的秘密。雷的大腦不知道出了什么問題，從某一天開始，各種各樣的聲音輪番在其中響起，叫罵、爭吵、閑言碎語，不斷的接受這些負能量，雷的精神很快就走到了瀕臨崩潰的邊緣。 漸漸開始喪失食欲、性欲甚至睡眠的雷意識到了問題的嚴重性，但各種嘗試的失敗將她推入了深深的絕望之中。一次偶然中，在便利店買醉的雷遇見了一名陌生的長途車司機（大森南朋 飾），腦袋里響起了追隨這個男人的指引，盡管不明白原因究竟為何，但雷毫不猶豫的和陌生男子一同踏上了旅途。

But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
