劇情簡介
退休搖滾明星強尼·博茲（Bill Cable 飾）在性行為的過程中被人用白絲巾捆綁雙手后用冰錐殘忍刺死。其女友凱瑟琳·特拉梅爾（Sharon Stone 飾）是一名作家，去年出版的小說中就有雙手被白絲巾捆綁的退休搖滾明星被女友用冰錐刺死的情節。雖然特拉梅爾通過了謊言測試，但曾槍殺兩位游客卻被判無罪的尼克·柯蘭警探（Michael Douglas 飾）堅持認為特拉梅爾在說謊。因為他自己也曾接受過謊言測試，并且通過了……
