　　30年代的香港，社局動蕩，黑幫林立。香港大亨胡老頭這日找到私家偵探哎吆（林子祥 飾），要求其調查胡太太，因為他覺得胡太太這些天表現奇怪。哎吆調查后發現，原來是壞蛋神父卡邦派（麥嘉 飾）人勾搭上了胡太，意欲偷取胡老頭價值連城的股票。他們這一計劃遭哎吆撞破后，四處追殺哎吆。　　哎吆亡命之際，又發現了胡老頭其實并非什么香港大亨，只是一名老千，他來香港的目的就是要騙卡邦等流氓的錢。胡老頭邀請哎吆入伙，一起設局騙卡邦。和好友探長羅賓（泰迪?羅賓 飾）商量后，哎吆決定來個將計就計。

大廚

　　德高望重的亞歷山大（讓·雷諾 Jean Reno 飾）多年來一直是米其林餐廳的三星主廚，但是近來他的境遇卻屢現危機。當下的法國料理界正是”分子料理”風靡，傳統料理日漸衰落的時代，亞歷山大所堅持的傳統料理很有可能會在即將到來的星級評審中落敗，餐廳的小開更是翹首以盼可以就此炒了他。正當亞歷山大焦頭爛額之時，一名名不見經傳的小廚師杰克（邁克爾·揚 Micha?l Youn 飾）出現了，杰克是亞歷山大食譜的忠實追隨者，卻因對料理的狂熱固執屢次失業，只好在養老院找了份油漆工作。一個偶然的機會，亞歷山大讓杰克到他的餐廳實習，杰克與生俱來的料理天分和另辟蹊徑的烹調創意令亞歷山大大為賞識，很快成為其左右手。星級評審越來越近，兩位傳統烹飪大師的合作能否在挑剔的”分子料理”派面前力挽狂瀾呢？
