　　法國青年瑞斯（喬納森?萊斯?梅耶斯 Jonathan Rhys Meyers 飾）在大使館中工作，同時他還是美國情報部門的見習人員，精明強干的瑞斯對“換車牌”，加竊聽器之類的任務自然是駕輕就熟，但是他很快迎來了真正的挑戰——配合探員瓦克斯（約翰?特拉沃塔 John Travolta 飾）在巴黎的行動。　　瓦克斯作風強硬，舉止粗暴。恍如漫畫中走出的美國英雄，甫一下飛機，便咬住了毒品的線索一路大開殺戒，先后與華人、巴基斯坦和黑人幫派連番激戰……瑞斯對神奇的瓦克斯目瞪口呆之余，也漸漸跟上了他的節奏。任務接近尾聲之時，兩人意外發現瑞斯居然也是恐怖分子的目標人物之一，原來恐怖分子們以瑞斯為突破口，試圖刺殺赴法訪問的美國高官，于是這對臨時搭檔，迅速整備出發……

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　描述一群青少年學生參加美國太空總署主辦的太空夏令營，親身體驗太空登月的操作環境。不料在一次意外中，他們乘坐的太空艙竟然真地發射升空，幾個年輕人登時六神無主，幸好有一個機器人留在艙中協助他們化險為夷。在眾多的太空科幻片中，哈瑞．溫勒導演本片較著重太空知識的傳遞而非眩目迷人的特效。外景在NASA 實地拍攝，有些地方頗令人大開眼界。凱特．卡普肖飾演女教官、利．湯普森、凱利．普雷斯頓飾演太空歷險的學生，但最討人喜歡的還是那個造型和表演都相當有趣的機器人。
