十年前，竹內(nèi)亮導(dǎo)演在NHK拍攝紀錄片《長江天地大紀行》時留下了一個遺憾：未能拍攝到“長江源頭的第一滴水”。十年后，遷居中國南京的他決心彌補這一遺憾。經(jīng)過兩年的精心準備，他在2021年再次踏上了6300公里的長江之旅，與舊友們重逢。竹內(nèi)亮的鏡頭下，不僅有壯美的自然風(fēng)光，更有普通百姓的樸實笑容和令人潸然淚下的動人故事。他捕捉了長江沿岸的風(fēng)土人情和百姓的真實生活，展現(xiàn)了中國經(jīng)濟騰飛后的十年巨變。作為在中國生活近十年的外國人，竹內(nèi)亮導(dǎo)演在完成十年之約的同時，也希望讓世界看到真實的中國人、真實的中國。電影版由竹內(nèi)導(dǎo)演的重新剪輯，將帶給觀眾全新的視聽體驗。
