池部良,白川由美,久保明,水野久美,平田昭彥不明妖星哥拉斯在茫茫宇宙中不斷前進，沿途吸附大量的星際飛行物，不斷的變龐大，日本的觀測宇宙船隼號，為了探明其質(zhì)量大小，不幸被一起吸附，但是其在最后關(guān)頭向地球發(fā)出了其質(zhì)量數(shù)據(jù)，使地球上的人對其有了個初步認識，后經(jīng)科學(xué)家計算測定，其質(zhì)量為地球的６１００倍，而且將在４５天后與地球相撞。 為阻止地球與哥拉斯的相撞，科學(xué)家想出了一個大膽的辦法，就是運用水素離子裝置在南極造一個噴射基地（類似與火箭發(fā)射器），讓地球動起來，在哥拉斯到來之前，使地球移動到其他軌道．等哥拉斯安全通過后，然后在北極在建個基地，使地球在回到原來的預(yù)定軌道。 計劃實施的非常順利，全世界各國在國聯(lián)的帶領(lǐng)下在南極建立了基地，但是由于在南極建造基地，在火焰發(fā)生器的作用下讓長眠在南極的海象怪獸蘇醒了，并破壞了一部份基地，后來，在飛機導(dǎo)彈的攻擊下，怪獸死了，但由于怪獸的破壞，火箭發(fā)生器推遲了時間，到底地球能不能脫離哥拉斯的吞噬呢？
