肅殺之夜，醫(yī)生威廉·本森（Stelio Candelli 飾）驅(qū)車走在蜿蜒曲折的山路上，趕往一個人生地不熟的地方出診。路上他遇見一起車禍，美麗女子蘇珊·史密斯（Rita Calderoni 飾）駕駛的汽車撞在路旁，蘇珊則昏迷不醒。為了尋找援手，威廉來到附近一座陰森古舊的城堡，在里面見到許多詭異的影像。突然，盛裝華麗的蘇珊出現(xiàn)在他面前，并表現(xiàn)出極大的熱情與愛意。威廉完全找不到頭緒，任憑蘇珊擺布。 　　次日凌晨，車中的蘇珊從昏迷中蘇醒，她踉踉蹌蹌來到古堡，遇見了身著中世紀紳士服裝的威廉，威廉同樣表現(xiàn)出莫名的愛意與激情。似乎，威廉和蘇珊不經(jīng)意間墮入了扭曲的時空，遇見了另一個自己……

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
