Catholicism entered Korea in 1784. Lee Seung-hun spreads the words with the brothers of Jung Yak-jong and Jung Yak-yong. The religion is used as an impetus for dispute between political parties so it becomes persecuted. During the Sin-yu Persecution, Ha-sang and Jung-eun avoid torture and surveillance and gather the parishioners, expanding the church's power. Lee Hang-ju, the illegitimate child of Lee Ji-yeon a high ranking official, rescues Jung-eun from danger and is drawn to her at first glance. Hang-ju and Jung-eun's fathers give their blessing to their marriage but one is executed for truth and the other becomes a high ranking official whom no one can approach. Jung-eun avoids Hang-ju's love for the truth and the teachings of the church. Hang-ju desperately chases after his love. When many parishioners disappear like dew on the gallows during the Roman Catholic persecution, Hang-ju receives the Holy Spirit.

　　本片以紀(jì)實(shí)風(fēng)格再現(xiàn)了1938年到1945年抗日聯(lián)軍第六軍被服廠女兵，傷兵醫(yī)院傷兵組成的留守團(tuán)在主力部隊(duì)西征后堅(jiān)持在老游擊區(qū)牽制敵人主力，于重重圍剿中突圍，進(jìn)入蘇聯(lián)整訓(xùn)，整編為抗聯(lián)第88教導(dǎo)旅打回東北的真實(shí)故事。　　影片透過(guò)12歲女戰(zhàn)士李童的視角，塑造了耿團(tuán)長(zhǎng)、裴大姐、白連長(zhǎng)、金玉希、李亦奇等一批普通抗聯(lián)男女戰(zhàn)士在突圍中拼死互相保護(hù)，犧牲、被俘、最終生還的殘酷歷程。　　本片改編自最后一個(gè)離世的抗聯(lián)女戰(zhàn)士李敏撰寫(xiě)的回憶錄。　　這是第一次用電影方式講述了抗聯(lián)后期從突圍到整編為教導(dǎo)旅再到打回東北的全過(guò)程。
