上世紀(jì)90年代末東北爆發(fā)大規(guī)模下崗潮，女性失業(yè)尤為嚴(yán)重。很多女人聽(tīng)說(shuō)當(dāng)法國(guó)保姆能賺錢(qián)，便不惜背上巨債出國(guó)。到巴黎后發(fā)現(xiàn)求生無(wú)路，只好去;站街。比利時(shí)導(dǎo)演奧利維耶偶然遇到她們，進(jìn)行了長(zhǎng)期調(diào)查，并找到王小帥任監(jiān)制，以此拍攝出電影《下海》。
